DevOps Engineer

About the Role
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for the continuous integration, automation, and continuous deployment of applications and systems — both internally and externally. You'll play a key role in building and evolving our CI/CD platform, driving automation, and partnering across teams to ensure reliable, high-availability systems that support our product and engineering goals.
Your Role Responsibilities? Here's What You'll Do.
- Build and implement a continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) platform; develop and execute best practices including solution architectures and adoption strategies.
- Implement solutions to automate the deployment of applications and develop monitoring, management, and deployment tools that provide visibility with a focus on high availability.
- Partner with respective departments to develop practical automation solutions; participate in cross-functional team meetings to collaborate and ensure successful execution.
- Diagnose system issues with multiple influencing factors; support performance and test automation integration into the CI/CD pipeline and troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
- Maintain internal documentation that fully reflects all activity related to applications and environments, ensuring accuracy and accessibility for applicable teams; assist in resolving issues arising from product upgrades, installations, and configurations.
- Participate in professional associations, outreach activities, or appropriate educational opportunities to stay current on industry best practices and relevant technical skills.

Role Essentials
- BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience, with a minimum of three years' experience in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef; DevOps and release management tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps; and managing service container-based platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience in Linux and Windows Administration with hands-on experience in scripting tools such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell, and enterprise web application configuration and administration using Apache Tomcat, NGINX, or IIS.
- Experience with continuous integration and deployment SaaS environments using platforms such as CircleCI, Bamboo, or Octopus Deploy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams; fast learner with strong organizational skills and a proven focus on completing the highest priorities.
